Randall is a firm believer in each athlete’s innate ability to accomplish any goal they set out to meet.  “My favorite aspect of working with Special Olympics athletes is their incredible imagination to achieve and their belief in themselves – if we all had this self esteem and determination there is no telling what social problems would be solved.”

Randall's motto and mission is to make an increasingly positive impact and improve the quality of life for all Chico and Butte County residents.  “I literally wake up in the morning and set out to outdo myself and my performance the previous day.  In triathlons we call this type of continuous improvement a 'negative split'.  I call it a positive split.”
